We NEED your help!
We have so much more power together, and we would love to be able to say that ASLFC represents ALL FCPS librarians when (yes, WHEN!) the School Board asks us what percentage of FCPS librarians are in our association. Our priorities this year will be advocacy around clerical assistance for all libraries (like every district surrounding us!), offering scholarships to librarians who want to attend conferences or other professional development, hosting networking events and coordinating with our union partners on collective bargaining. Please consider joining us!
We are also looking to fill some important board positions, these take on average about 1-2 hours a month, but can have a huge impact! Many hands makes light work! Let us know if you are interested by email or by indicating it on your membership form.
