Membership

Ellen McNair (Stuart High School)


Prepares membership forms and arranges for collection of dues at Fall inservice and issues receipts upon payment.  Coordinates membership list to FEA and all association members by December 1.

Scholarship Debbie Scott (Robinson Secondary School

Provides scholarship application for those wishing to enter the drawing for the scholarship to attend a professional conference.  The drawing will be held at the annual spring luncheon and recipients must notify the Scholarship Committee Chair no later than October 1 of conference plans.

Election Vacant

Seeks out candidates for office and prepares a slate of candidates by April 1.  This slate of candidates and their qualification will be posted.  Tabulates results and announces election results at the annual spring luncheon.

Ginny Morton (Edison High School)

Responsible for gathering and editing ASLFC committee reports and newsworthy articles, and maintaining the Web site..


Sunshine Ellie Altman (Kilmer Middle School)

Responsible for notifying members of colleagues who are experiencing family loss or illness.  Makes arrangements for cards, flowers, etc. to be sent.

VEMA Rep. Vacant

Represents ASLFC at VEMA functions and ensures the members' viewpoints are known.

Advocacy Vacant

Acts as the liaison between organization and FCPS on issues affecting libraries and their abilities to function at an optimal level.

Historian Heather Norris (Walt Whitman Middle School)

Keeps records of events and activities.

FEA Rep. Kimberly Adams (Mosby Woods Elementary)

Represents ASLFC at FEA meetings and ensures the members' viewpoints are known.
